The Union has a number of policy and documentation that enable to Union to function fairy and democratically. Two of the most fundamental documents are our Constitution and our Election Regulations. No Students’ Union can run without a constitution and elections cannot go ahead without appropriate regulations. Our constitution says what the Union can and cannot do, it's basically the rules that BG Students' Union must follow each year, the same applies with our Election Regulations.
The only way your Union can ever alter these documents is if you say we can! All amendments and changes must be passed through Student Council and agreed by its members; the Students. So your opinion really does matter and you could help make some major changes that could benefit thousands of students in the future.
