The Students’ Union Finance Officer at BGSU is a part-time position, meaning it undertaken by a student in full time education.

What does the Finance Officer do?

These are the main responsibilities of the Finance Officer…

Is a member of the Core Students’ Union Executive.
Responsible for budgeting the next financial year alongside the current and incoming President and Finance Officer.
Presents the accounts for examination on a termly basis.
Presents the accounts for professional examination at the start of the academic year.
Alongside the Union Development Manager, deals with bank communications and correspondence.
Monitors the expenditure of clubs and societies alongside the Student Activities Officer.
Monitors the income and expenditure on a monthly basis in relation to the budget.
